Our Programmes
From the time this department was formed in 1997, as a multi-disciplinary entity based on the central discipline of management, it has continued to expand. Today, a wide range of qualifications can be gained from diverse studies ranging across areas such as management, entrepreneurship, small business, human resource management, international management, and business information systems.
Our Staff
The academic backgrounds of our internationally recognised staff are also multi-disciplinary: we come from business, psychology and the arts. Consequently our approach to conducting research is both qualitative and quantitative. We also take pride in our student-oriented approach to teaching and learning.
Our Students
The department has approximately 750 Effective Full-Time Students (EFTS) many of whom study part-time. Our Postgraduate Diploma in Business & Administration and the Master of Management degree are very popular, so over 25% of our students are enrolled in postgraduate studies. We also have a thriving PhD programme.
